Artistic Vision
I am particularly interested in performance and I am seeking to build a career around this. I am enthused about performance as I enjoy the creation, rehearsal and performance processes of a production. More specifically, I enjoy learning different methods of creation and learning a choreographer’s unique repertoire of movement and practising it like any mainstream dance technique such as Cunningham or classical ballet. I am always keen to learn new skills and become and overall, a more versatile dancer and performer.

I am also extremely interested and enthusiastic about learning repertoire from renowned pieces of work. Learning repertoire is something I take pleasure in as I enjoy studying pieces of work and trying to replicate them as closely to the original version as I can.

I also enjoy performing and the bond one can create with other dancers through this.
In terms of my performance career I aim to join a company that mainly focuses on extremely agile pieces of work and push the body to its absolute limits- with a strong technical presence throughout.

By performing I strive to inspire younger dancers and entertain audiences. Inspiring young people to dance is one of my main aims through my performance career, as going to performances was one of the main reasons why I became involved in dance.

Dance has particular significance to me as I enjoy the connection between music and movement and the way in which the brain reacts positively to the two when they are put together. I enjoy working with others and processes of many different kinds, leading to a satisfying outcome.
